Case Study

Working with a local committee of village staff, property owners, merchants, and residents, the RGR team developed a program of streetscape improvements, a conceptual plan, and an implementation strategy for the village commercial center along Franklin Avenue and 7th Street. RGR focused the committee’s attention on relevant principles of the “Complete Streets” movement, which promotes a range of streetscape design strategies to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment and improve public safety as well as to attract funding from potential government programs.
