For the corporate client Pfizer, RGR Landscape designed the 7th floor,12,000-square foot roof terrace at 66 Hudson Boulevard, adjacent to Hudson Yards on the west side of Manhattan. The work was coordinated with Gensler, the fit-out architect for the interior amenity cafeteria, to provide complimentary outdoor space with prominent views of the Hudson River. RGR developed the terrace layout plan to create a variety of opportunities for employees to gather and interact including dining at secluded tables, perching on stepped seating, or lounging on sofas. RGR specified and detailed the site furniture, including custom elements such as the stepped seating and bar tables, and coordinated with the lighting designer to integrate the light fixtures with the furnishings.
