Fountaingate Gardens is a new independent living facility that, together with the neighboring Gurwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, is part of a new Continuing Care Residential Community in Sufflok County, NY. RGR Landscape developed the site plan and landscape plan for the more than 10-acre site. The landscape plan includes a large man-made water feature with two linear ponds connected by a central waterfall. RGR designed a curving pedestrian walkway that follows the shoreline of the water feature and traverses a lush and varied outdoor environment ranging from native woodland and meadow plantings to more formal lawns and ornamental gardens. The landscape plan also includes a nature walk, pinetum, pickle ball courts, and community gardens.
