RGR Landscape worked with Perkins Eastman on site work improvements and a landscape restoration plan to accompany a new addition and renovations of the existing clubhouse at the Quaker Ridge golf club in Scarsdale, NY. Site improvements included a new entry drive and parking configuration, new pedestrian access, and various landscape enhancements around the clubhouse perimeter. RGR’s work also included a new swimming pool deck, perimeter fencing, stone walls, steps, walkways, and terraces for outdoor activities, and dining areas adjacent to the clubhouse. RGR worked closely with the civil engineers to develop the pool deck paving and fencing plans for submission to the Westchester County Health Department. RGR also worked closely with golf club members to develop landscape solutions that would mitigate sound transmission from the pool and activity areas to the golf course while still preserving open views of the golf course from the clubhouse.
