RGR Landscape developed a landscape master plan for the campus of the SUNY Administration Building in Albany, New York. The goal of the project was to provide an appropriate landscape for the expansive forecourt of the SUNY administrative offices, which occupy the former Delaware and Hudson Railroad Building, and to enhance the campus outdoor environment. The master plan included a new driveway entry from Broadway; new pedestrian access points to strengthen the connections between the site and the adjacent neighborhood fabric; and sustainable site design features such as bio-swales, rain gardens, and porous pavement, that will support the sustainability effort as well as provide learning opportunities for visitors.
