RGR Landscape designed a roof terrace for a trading company on the 47th floor of 4 World Trade Center in Manhattan as an amenity feature for an adjacent two-story office space. The client specifically leased these floors in the building to take advantage of the 5,000-square foot terrace, with panoramic views of New York Harbor, 1 World Trade Center, and the full-length of Manhattan. The design allows access to the views while creating spaces for outdoor dining and socializing. Chaise lounges on a deck are nestled amongst plantings while the custom-designed bar tables and benches occupy the most prominent corner of the space.
